Jiwon Poem

Jiwon is a limo because she is long

Jiwon is a mall full of shoes and style

Jiwon is a tree, 

usually calm but depends on the day

JIwon is a salad, 

you don't have to like me

Jiwon is a bow tie, 

sweet and classy

Look there and there, 

flour eggs and sugar filling up the counter space.

 That might be Jiwon

Today in class we were learning about word intensity for literacy. We had a list of of words we could choose and I chose the word "said". We had to find synonyms to "said" and had to put them in order from the weakest intensity to the strongest. We also had to pick a photo that could show the intensity. Here is what mine looks like.

Term 3 Week 9 23.9.16

This week was very fun. It was the last day of the week though and I know I'm going to miss school. I learned a lot in extension maths. I learned how to convert fraction in to decimals and percentages. I think I can answer a lot more stage 7 questions than when we did the test. To make our class kinder I think we should all mind our own things and encourage other kids to do what they love. What I really want to learn next week is to probably try hard in stage 8 questions even though I will probably suck. I think I was kind by paying for some of Lissie's stuff when we were going shopping.

Magnets are great for sorting metals for recycling

Kinetic and Potential Energy

Today we learnt about kinetic and potential energy. Kinetic energy is the energy when an object or a thing is moving and potential energy is when an object or thing is still. Gravity is when something pulls something down. Friction is when something grips onto something.

Nucleation - Science

Nucleation 

This week we have been learning about nucleation. Nucleation is when carbon dioxide is pulled by a rough object. For example the Mentos is rough so when you put it in the coke the carbon dioxide gets pulled to the mentos. However there is not much space for all the carbon dioxide so they start pushing each other to the top which make the bubbles shoot out. Here are some video to show you what happens.

This term has gone ok for me. Extension maths has gotten way harder and I have made more friends. I think I might want to work harder in tech. I think the desked needed to be swap for next term. I think I sould be kinder to all my friends. I think I am proud of getting a role in the production.

Term 2 Week 6 - 10.6.16

This week we learned about puberty and how to times any number with 11 easily. Today we also flew kites and it was very fun. With puberty we got in about how our bodies will change over the years. The elections started a few weeks ago but we started to really get into it today. This week I'm going to try to work harder at making me and rebecca's world map for extention maths.

What are the aspects you have enjoyed so far? The aspects I've enjoyed so far is the technology classes. It's very exciting and a little bit dangerous, thats why I love it so much. You can try things you have not done before or learn some stuff for the future.

What is something that I have learnt so far? I learn't how to play chess and I learn't what how to do banqer.

This week I did really well in our pamphlet because we planned everything out and finished it in time. I would like to enroll myself into more sports. 2 things that I can change is to enroll myself into more things and try and talk less. My goal in tech is to try and be very precise in my work.
